Our Simple Sustainable Shipping Promise

At The Simple Sustainable Store, we like to practice what we preach. As far as possible, all orders will be shipped to you using mailers that are either 100% compostable or are easily recyclable.

One of our favourite shipping options at the moment are the compostable mailers produced by the awesome people at Hero Packaging. Hero Packaging’s mailers are made from cassava roots and cornstarch and are 100% compostable, breaking down in 90 days and leaving zero chemical residue. This means that once you've excitedly ripped open your parcel from us, you can dig the mailing bag into your compost or garden and the bag will enjoy a second life as yummy worm food (and then as nutrient-rich fertiliser for your garden). 

Shipping Costs (Australia wide)

Our standard shipping costs are $9.95 across Australia for orders under $75.
We offer free shipping on all orders of $75 or more.

Estimated Delivery Times (Australia wide)

Orders are sent by standard post. Once you receive your order confirmation email, your order should arrive between 5-10 Business Days.

International Shipping (outside Australia)

At this stage we only ship within Australia.

If you are from outside Australia and would like to purchase one of our products, please contact us and we will see what we can arrange for you :)

As we continue to grow, we will look to begin international shipping so that we can spread the Simple Sustainable message far and wide!

Returns Policy

We will accept returns of our products for an exchange or store credit where they meet the following conditions:

  • Items are returned to us within 30 days of purchase;
  • Items are unused and in their original packaging;
  • All seals on relevant items remain unbroken.

To initiate a return, please send us an email at returns@thesimplesustainablestore.com.au. We will respond within one business day with details for you to complete your return. As soon as we receive your return, we will ensure that it is in the correct condition and, if so, we will issue you a confirmation email within 5 business days with details of the store credit to be added to your account (if returning for store credit) or delivery details of your new item (if returning for exchange).

Please note that shipping costs for returned items will not be refunded/store credited. 

If you believe that your item is faulty or incorrect, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us at returns@thesimplesustainablestore.com.au to let us know. Please note that we do not provide refunds for natural wear and tear on a product or for any damage caused to the product after you have received it.
